The Task: Help content teams promote themselves more often by reusing the content they already have.
Context
This started as my own task. When I find something inspiring, I want to share it, but rewriting it into short posts takes time I rarely have, while editing an AI draft is quick. Museums, NGOs and small businesses face the same gap: many texts already exist, but turning one into a carousel by hand takes about an hour.
Idea
As a main point of automation I took this bottleneck: I spend a lot of time on writing, but I'm still the owner of the text. So editing and checking still will be my part, and the rest should be automated.
Design
The tool reads the article and its images, summerizes the idea of the pharaghraph in short sentences and matches each card with an image, keeping the article’s order. AI drafts the story, a I edit and approve.
Deliverables
I built the tool as a web app, with no installs and no accounts.
Reads any public web page
Cards keep the article’s language (left-sided)
Non-removable source link on every card
Text and background colours for brand style
The tool collects no personal data
Cards and uploads are deleted an hour after creation
Paywalled pages may not work
Use it from desktop or mobile
How it works
Paste a link to an article.
Choose 5 - 12 cards and, if needed, a focus.
Edit the cards:
change layout
swap images or upload additional
set colours of font and background
review the text
Download the cards (by one for mobile or all at once in ZIP for desktop.
Upload them to the instagram stories and enjoy!
P.S. You can reuse the same article with different focus several times.
I tested the first version with a few people outside the museum field. The Focus option came from their feedback.
Result: The tool turns an article into a ready set of cards to post in Instagram Crousel in several minutes, so existing pages can be shared again and again in different angles and without extra writing time.
